About Fontschmiede
Fontschmiede is the German foundry of the font-designers Michel M and Frank Baranowski.
Michel, illustrating artist and graphic designer, has made font experiences since the mid-1990s: he published fonts at URW++ and was working additionally for Linotype.
Frank, graphic designer, has been designing typefaces since 1990: his first fonts were published by Elsner+Flake, URW++ and Letraset.
Fontschmiede's goal is to distribute quality fonts with a certain extraordinary look. We think, there is at least one occasion for a special font.
